Givism is a simple website with an extraordinary pair of goals:

2. Help YOU be a force of positive change, without ever asking you to donate a single dollar or moment of your time

Everyone knows there are lots of ways to make a positive difference in this world, such as donating money to charities or volunteering at not-for-profit organizations, to name but a couple.  However, the simple truth is that not everyone can afford the time or the money to take some of those steps. 

In essence, most people would like to give, but can't always do that without taking away something that may be very important to them, such as the money or time that they require to meet their everyday needs.

Enter a concept that we have called...Givism.

Givism is, quite simply, the act of helping give away something valuable to someone else without taking away something valuable from yourself.  In this case, by using this site you are helping impoverished and needy children and families around the world receive much needed economic aid, without taking away a single dollar or a single hour of your own.

Sounds too good to be true?  Well, it is true, and the significant funds we're already allocating to these charities in the short time since we launched in 2007, and the millions more we hope and expect to give to charity in the months and years ahead, will make the world believe in the power of Givism.
